Focusing on a New Era of Equipment Management – The 4th Refining and Petrochemical Equipment Management Technology Conference Successfully Held in Hefei

On July 25–26, the 4th Refining and Petrochemical Equipment Management Technology Conference, along with the 2025 Rotating Equipment Management Technology Exchange Forum, was held in Hefei. The event was hosted by the China Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment Industry Association (CPEIA) and jointly organized by the CPEIA Refining and Petrochemical Equipment Management Committee and Hefei Huasheng Pumps & Valves Co., Ltd.

The two-day conference brought together representatives from leading petroleum and petrochemical enterprises, along with industry experts and scholars, to exchange insights on cutting-edge equipment management technologies and the intelligent upgrading of rotating equipment, exploring pathways for high-quality industry development.

01 Opening Remarks: Setting the Course for a New Blueprint in Equipment Management

At the opening ceremony on the morning of July 25, Mr. Liu Hongbin, President of CPEIA, and Mr. Chai Liping, Chairman of Huasheng Pumps & Valves, delivered keynote speeches.

Mr. Liu underscored that continuous innovation and upgrading of equipment management technologies in the refining and petrochemical sector are key to ensuring safe and efficient production and advancing the industry's green and low-carbon transformation.

Mr. Chai extended a warm welcome to all participants and shared achievements of Huasheng Pumps & Valves in integrating high-end industrial pump manufacturing with intelligent inspection technologies, expressing the company’s vision to empower the industry’s development through technical exchange.

02 Keynote Reports: Gaining Insights and Unlocking New Wisdom in Equipment Management

The morning session featured a series of keynote presentations and focused discussions that highlighted industry trends. Experts from Sinopec, CNPC, CNOOC and other leading enterprises shared forward-looking perspectives and best practices on building robust equipment management systems and ensuring reliable operation of critical machinery, providing valuable references for industry upgrading.

Experts from China Energy and other enterprises addressed key pain points in equipment management, offering multi-dimensional insights and innovative solutions that resonated with the audience.

Mr. Zhang Junhui, Vice General Manager of Huasheng Pumps & Valves, delivered a presentation titled “Integration of High-End Industrial Pump Manufacturing and Intelligent Inspection Equipment”. Through detailed case studies, he illustrated practical pathways for upgrading pump and valve equipment with intelligent solutions, providing actionable strategies for the industry’s digital and intelligent transformation.

The subsequent Outstanding Paper Award Ceremony recognized significant technical achievements in the field, inspiring professionals to continue advancing the quality and sustainability of the industry.
